runvar

Manipulates the run variables. A run variable is an item that is periodically logged to the event stream. It is allowed to vary during the run. The runvar command can be used to:

• Create a new runvariable and optionally assign it a value:

  	        %  runvar newvar ?value?
  	    

  creates a new run variable named newvar if value is supplied the new variable's initial value is set to value.
• List the set of run variables that are defined:

  	        %  runvar -list ?glob-pattern?
  	    

• Delete a run variable:

  	        %  runvar -delete varname
