Writing a SpecTcl Configuration ScriptSetting Up SpecTclRunning Make to Build SpecTclRunning SpecTcl

Running SpecTcl

We now have a tailored version of SpecTcl that can decode our data. In order to get histograms out of SpecTcl, we need to at least:

[ ]Write a configuration script that will define the parameters we have unpacked.
[ ]Run SpecTcl and source in this script.

Note that many experimental groups use an extension to SpecTcl called "treeparam". If your group uses this extension, configuration files are not necessary. Consult within your group to determine what you need.
