What do I do if Something Goes Wrong?

If something goes wrong the NSCL DAQ development group wants to hear about it. If we don't hear about it, we won't know there's a problem to fix. How you report problems depends on how serious the problem is.

If the problem is serious enough to interfere with a beamtime run, contact Eric Kasten, Ron Fox or Jay Kusler immediately so we can get you back on track for your beam time.

If the problem is serious enough to warrant quick response, but does not stop you from running, contact Ron Fox by email fox@nscl.msu.edu

If the problem can be worked around, report it through the NSCL DAQ bug tracking database: http://daqbugs.nscl.msu.edu. Reporting a bug via daqbugs results in email being sent to the responsible party.

Report documentation errors to Ron Fox (fox@nscl.msu.edu)or NSCL's Bugzilla page
