This command is part of the gate package of commands
CGatePackage. It is encapsulated in a
CMPITclPackagedCommand. The ungating of individual
spectra is done via the SpecTcl API which, if a histogrammer
object exists, as it does in MPI_EVENT_SINK_RANK
asks the histogramer to remove the gate so that all of the other histogrammer
book keeping will be done. In all other clasess, the spectrum is located in
the local spectrum dictionary and asked to ungate itself.
